Sliding Scale Tax Exemption – Income-Based
This exemption is available through an annual application process for individuals under the age of 65 who have been determined to be 100% disabled by the Social Security Administration (SSA).
Eligibility Requirements
- Maximum household income: $25,000.
- Proof of income is required as part of the application process.
- Applicants must be legally domiciled in the Town of North Kingstown for a minimum of five years.
- The applicant must have owned property in North Kingstown for at least two years as of December 31st to qualify for the following year's tax roll.
