$30,000 Assessment Dollar Credit– One Per Household
Eligible homeowners may receive a $30,000 assessment dollar credit. This amount may be reflected on the tax bill as tax credit dollars based on the current tax rate.
Eligibility Requirements
- Applicants must be 65 years of age or older by December 31 to qualify for the following tax year's roll.
- The applicant must be a legal resident of North Kingstown, owning and occupying property for at least 15 years.
This is a one-time application that remains attached to the property until it is sold.
