After School Programming at Quidnessett Elementary School

LEARN365RI is supporting the continued work of the Quidnessett Family Center in providing After School programming opportunities to students in grades kindergarten through 5th. In this targeted program, students have the opportunity to work with certified teachers and staff to expand on the skills being taught during the school day. Programs are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00-5:00 during the school year.

Community Learning Events

With the support of LEARN365RI, the Office of Family Learning is hosting monthly community learning events! These activities engage students in grades K-12 in fun, hand-on learning opportunities designed to help students succeed both in and out of the classroom. Topics include:

  • SAT/PSAT Prep
  • Executive Functioning/Time management
  • Comic Book Writing
  • Gardening
  • Life After High School
  • Marine Life
  • Marble Coasters
  • Financial Literacy
  • Robotics

and more...

These events are aimed at not only supporting students in the moment, but also supporting them as they continue on their academic journeys and beyond!

Summer Squad

Summer Squad is a summer learning program hosted by the Office of Family Learning. Students entering grade 1 through grade 6 work with certified NKSD teachers and teacher assistants to mitigate summer learning loss through hands-on enrichment activities and lessons. The program runs in the morning for six-weeks.  It is great for students who may need a little extra boost over the summer to be ready for the school year. Summer Squad is open to students from all North Kingstown elementary schools.
