Litter-Free RI Community Cleanup – North Kingstown Volunteer Program

Join your neighbors in keeping North Kingstown clean, green, and beautiful!

Volunteer with the Department of Public Works to clean parks, streets, and public spaces through North Kingstown’s Litter-Free RI initiative.

North Kingstown residents are invited to participate in the Litter-Free RI Community Cleanup, a volunteer-driven initiative to keep our parks, streets, and public spaces clean and safe. Individuals, families, neighborhood groups, sports teams, book clubs, and workplaces are all welcome to join. Together, we can help preserve the beauty and health of our community.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers of all ages are encouraged to organize or join cleanups in locations of their choice. The Department of Public Works can provide guidance and may supply cleanup materials, including trash bags, hand sanitizer, compostable cups, water dispensers, participation stickers, and trash haul-away services. Supplies are limited and distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Program Support

This program is made possible by a successful Town of North Kingstown grant application to First Lady & Governor Dan McKee’s Litter-Free RI initiative, in partnership with the Rhode Island Department of Transportation.
