Volunteers

There are many opportunities for volunteers to be involved at the Center. Our volunteers come from a cross section of our community. They are business people, retired individuals, teachers or part time workers.

The wonderful thing about volunteering is that it brings so much satisfaction and camaraderie…to you and to those you help. If you’d like to volunteer, or have ideas for programs you could lead, we’d love to hear from you. Sea Breeze Dining

Beechwood Welcome Desk

Our Welcome Desk needs volunteers to assist at the Front Desk to receive payments for memberships and trips and to offer answers to questions about Beechwood and the many programs offered here. Please call Melissa at 401-268-1594 or email Melissa DuBois.

FISH (Friends in Service to Humanity)

FISH is an all volunteer community program that provides transportation to medical, social services, and dental appointments. Please call FISH at 401-295-1121.

Southern Rhode Island Volunteers

Locally based RSVP (Retired and Senior Volunteer Program) places older persons in volunteer positions of all kinds. Please call 401-789-2362 for more information.

Senior Companion and Friendly Visitors Program
