Newsletter FAQs

Q: Can I include an advertisement or event in the newsletter?

A: Our newsletter is not supported by ads and per our policy, is limited to events and news directly related to the administration of the municipality. Content includes Town Council meetings, initiatives and announcements from municipal departments, and connections to official Town services/resources. Independently organized events and/or promotions are not eligible to be included; this includes ticketed events, fundraisers, or similar occurrences.

Q: How can I submit my event to the Town’s Events Calendar?

A: Our website, www.northkingstownri.gov, is for the promotion of, and connections to, official business of the Town of North Kingstown and the services of our municipality. The town's events and meeting calendar is limited to Town-sponsored events and meetings, and does not include private events, meetings, or other gatherings even if they take place at Town-owned/managed facility such as a park, the library, Town Hall, etc.

It may be appropriate and/or possible for your North Kingstown event to be considered for inclusion in the 2025 Community Events Calendar, managed by the 250th Committee. To request a review, please contact committee chairperson, Kate Glass, via email: kglass@northkingstownri.gov, with all pertinent event information including a flyer and link to a website with complete details.
