Hydrant flushing removes sediment that normally accumulates in water pipes that could produce bacteria if not removed. The Water Dept is currently conducting our flushing program throughout the northern section of town the first half of this month. Customers may experience discolored water or lower water pressure while flushing is happening. If you have discolored water, we recommend running cold water for a period of time to clear the discoloration.
